The Sandwich Public Schools is currently seeking a Long Term Substitute for a Grade 5 ELA position beginning May 15, 2026, until the end of the school year on June 25, 2026.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Current MA DESE license preferred.
• Master's preferred but not required.
• Experience teaching grades 5 students preferred.
• Collaborating with colleagues on a team.
• Effective 1:1 classroom strategies.
• Understanding of current pedagogy in subject matter instruction.

COMPENSATION:

• Daily Rate of Pay for LTS (hired for four (4) or more weeks): BA Step 1 = $320.81 for the 2025-2026 school year.
