The Forestdale School in Sandwich, a PreK-2 school, is searching for two (2) Part-Time Interventionists beginning on August 31, 2026, and each shall perform the following essential duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

Support Tier II and Tier III Reading or Math Instruction
Provide direct instruction in one to one or small group settings to students identified as eligible for reading or math intervention services
Use formal and informal assessment data to guide student achievement of the MA Frameworks
Use a variety of programs or materials to support the needs of individual students to achieve the content standards
Assist in data collection, management and analysis
Participate in data team meetings as needed
Assist in the administration of all benchmark assessments
Participate in special education meetings or parent conferences as requested
Maintain and improve professional competence through participation in all professional development activities
Other duties as requested by the Principal and/or Supervisor.

REPORTS TO:

Building Principal/Assistant Principal and/or Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Reading or related field.
Valid Massachusetts teaching license preferred.
2+ years of successful classroom teaching or small group instruction

COMPENSATION: Per the ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the Sandwich website.
